Sincerely Nude was founded in London by Michelle Asare in 2018 with one clear mission: to create nude solutions that actually match the skin tones of women of colour.

What started as a personal frustration has grown into a community-led brand trusted by women across the UK and beyond from everyday styling to special occasions.

I wanted to be part of the change I wished existed where women of colour feel beautiful and sexy in their own shade.”

Every time Michelle searched for “nude”, she saw the same beige shade repeated over and over again a colour that never reflected her skin tone or the women around her. It wasn’t just about clothes; it was about the message that only one version of nude was worth designing for.

Sincerely Nude was born out of that gap. In 2018, Michelle launched the brand with a simple goal: create products that allow women of colour to feel supported, lifted and seen. What began with small batches and word of mouth has evolved into a recognised name for shade-inclusive boob tape and body solutions.
